Here is a painting inspired by a Currier & Ives calendar print. The subject is a scene of pheasants huddled against the winter cold. I admire the nameless artists who created many beautiful images back in the 1800s. I thought this would warm hearts this Christmas. This is a close up shot of my watercolor.
